Overview
You will receive a 50% refund of your booking with Koinania Picnics and Events LLC if you need to cancel 7 (seven) days in advance of your scheduled picnic. This policy allows us to secure your date, apply for necessary park permits (if applicable), and schedule our staff.
🛑 Strict Cancellation Policy
- 7 Day Cancellation Period: If you cancel seven days in advance of your picnic date, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than seven days from your picnic date, you will NOT receive a refund. The deposit will be retained for future picnics and micro events with Koinania Picnics and Events LLC.
- Cancellations: Canceling your event results in forfeiture of 50% of your deposit. (Please read the explanation above)
- No-Shows: Missing your scheduled time results in immediate cancellation without a refund.
🌦️ Inclement Weather Policy
- Weather Liability: Bad weather does not qualify your booking for a refund.
- Rescheduling Credit: If dangerous weather occurs, we will issue a credit for a future date.
- Indoor Backup: Clients may move the setup to a covered or indoor location.
- Decision Window: Weather changes must be finalized 3 days before setup.
🔄 Date Changes & Rescheduling
- Notice Required: You must request a date change at least 8 days prior.
- Availability: Rescheduling is subject to our current open calendar availability.
- Transfer Fee: A rescheduling fee of [$150] may apply to transfer your date.
- Credit Expiration: All event credits must be used within 180 days.
⏱️ Late Arrivals
- Wait Time: We hold your location for up to 30 minutes past your start time.
- Time Deduction: Late arrival time is subtracted from your total scheduled event duration.
- Forfeiture: Arriving more than [30] minutes late is considered a no-show, with zero credit toward a future booking or refund.
